Referee Training Available, RPSC Will Reimburse 50% 

  • Up-front Cost is $75.
  • RPSC will reimburse 50% of the cost to any newly licensed referee who works five games for RPSC.

Rules of the Game


How Do Referees Get Feedback?

  • No--Parent/ Spectator/ Player comments or questions to the ref before, during or after the game.
  • Yes--Ref's ruling is final.  After the game, there is a formal protest process to disagree with a call.
  • Yes-- Parents/ Spectators/ Players speak with their own team's Coach. 
  • Yes--Coach addresses Referee(s). 
  • When necessary--Coach makes a note on the game card, or speaks with their own club's Head Referee.
  • When necessary--Head Referee from one club contacts the other club's Head Referee to discuss.
  • Head Referee provides clarification or direction to their own club's referees, coaches and families as needed.
  • When necessary-- Head Referees present issues to the Protest, Appeal & Disciplinary (PAD) committee.
  • Additionally, league reviews game cards for possible PAD committee concerns.
